Locus OS Interface from Barton Smith on Vimeo.
Designer Barten Smith has combined elements of Microsoft Zune with touches from iPhone/iPad and even Mac OSX interface to create this concept for a Microsoft home computer. Rendering Synthetic Objects into Legacy Photographs from Kevin Karsch on Vimeo.
Listen up designers. This amazing piece of software (in development) allows users to place a 3D (CAD) model directly into a photograph, rendering it with realistic lighting and reflections. All this without the need for backplates or even HDR images. We don’t know how long this product will take to hit the market, but we’re sure some big wig software company is kicking it’s self for not getting there first. We can easily see this as a great plugin for Photoshop!
Check out the video to see this thing in action! It’s impressive!
