Thursday November 3rd, 2011 11:00 New Google Chromebook?

culturedrop

Mark Solomon is Principal Designer of HP’s Innovation Program Office, and he has recently published a project to his behance page simply called, Google Chromebook. Its possible that HP have been working with Google to develop their own branded chromebook. This would following in line with Samsung developing and manufacturing their Nexus phone. However considering Google’s recent aquisition of Motorola, we think this will be the last ‘collaboration’ between these companies.  Find out more here.

Monday October 24th, 2011 18:48 The future of 3D render (and possibly Photoshop)!

Rendering Synthetic Objects into Legacy Photographs from Kevin Karsch on Vimeo.

Listen up designers. This amazing piece of software (in development) allows users to place a 3D (CAD) model directly into a photograph, rendering it with realistic lighting and reflections. All this without the need for backplates or even HDR images. We don’t know how long this product will take to hit the market, but we’re sure some big wig software company is kicking it’s self for not getting there first. We can easily see this as a great plugin for Photoshop!

Check out the video to see this thing in action! It’s impressive!
