Mark Solomon is Principal Designer of HP’s Innovation Program Office, and he has recently published a project to his behance page simply called, Google Chromebook. Its possible that HP have been working with Google to develop their own branded chromebook. This would following in line with Samsung developing and manufacturing their Nexus phone. However considering Google’s recent aquisition of Motorola, we think this will be the last ‘collaboration’ between these companies.  Find out more here.

Designer Barten Smith has combined elements of Microsoft Zune with touches from iPhone/iPad and even Mac OSX interface to create this concept for a Microsoft home computer. Although it looks pretty nifty, we’re still not sure touch screen home computers are the way forward. Time will tell i guess. You can find out more here.

Listen up designers. This amazing piece of software (in development) allows users to place a 3D (CAD) model directly into a photograph, rendering it with realistic lighting and reflections. All this without the need for backplates or even HDR images. We don’t know how long this product will take to hit the market, but we’re sure some big wig software company is kicking it’s self for not getting there first. We can easily see this as a great plugin for Photoshop!

We’ve seen disposable cameras in the past, which makes it more of an option to chuck them in the air to get some cool shots. This however is taking that idea further. Putting loads of small lenses in a ball, the user can throw in the air, or over a wall, or to someone else…etc. It will then stitch the images together to create a full panoramic image that you can rotate and look around in 3D Pretty sweet!
